Game Summary (in 100 words or less)
Harrison, NJ -- The third leg of the Hudson Derby brought back painful memories for NYC FC and us, the supporters.
NYC came out in the opening minutes with a lot of momentum, which brought some very good opportunities for Mix and Lampard. Ultimately, none of these great chances were converted, and future chances were few and far in between.
The Red Bulls struck first when a trivial ball in the box snuck between Mena’s legs and gave BWP an opportunity he could not miss. Felipe sealed the deal in the 85th minute.
Next Up: The eastern leading DC United this Thursday night.
